Yuhan Sun, DDS
Dr. Yuhan Sun completed her initial dental training at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed a one-year hospital-based general practice residency program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Sun also completed a year-long course in comprehensive aligner therapy with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. She’s a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. Always eager to learn, Dr. Sun prioritizes her continuing education and always strives to learn more to better serve her patients.
Dr. Sun loves her job for the opportunity to build relationships and have meaningful conversations with patients. Most importantly, she loves helping people smile! She started down this career path with a love of the arts and working with her hands, as well as the sciences, particularly healthcare. When she first encountered dentistry in high school, she realized she could combine her two interests into a career.
If she weren’t in this field, Dr. Sun would love to have her own bakery or restaurant.
Within her community, Dr. Sun has participated in a remote area medical dental clinic and a Mission of Mercy to provide dental care.
Outside the office, she loves to play tennis, bake, cook, and spend lots of time with her puppy, Benji. She also enjoys all types of food and trying out new restaurants with her fiancé, Ken.
